It exceeded my high expectations. The design is well thought out. It makes awesome coffee and is very user friendly. I would consider it inexpensive considering the quality.

Looks amazing and works great! Very easy to use and simple to configure to your own personal preference. I was amazed how long it keeps the coffee hot after brewed as well.

Sleek design, but features more limited than advertised

I bought this a few weeks ago and am mostly pleased with the product. The customized brewing settings for the Fellow Drops beans is neat, but disappointing that the app is not able to automate this as is described in the value prop for Fellow Drops and advertised in the product manual. Would have been great to know that this feature was not yet launched.

I love everything about this coffeemaker. It is easy to use and easy to clean; the carafe is especially easy to clean. This provides consistently perfect coffee no matter the amount of coffee you make. I highly recommend!

Flexibility, performance, value

Easily switching from single serve to batch brew in one unit is great. Whether single or batch, the performance doesn't suffer. The preset brew profiles for the roasts are extracting flavors I was not getting with my pourover setup (skill issue?). Lastly, the materials do not seem premium, but when compared to the prices and materials of other products in their lineup, it seems this was built to deliver amazing technology (in an okay chassis) at a reasonable price.

I just got the Aiden this week. I'm very fussy about my coffee - migrated from Chemex a year ago (too time consuming, too busy in the morning) to Technivorm Moccamaster, which took a lot of experimentation and hacks to produce a pretty good pot to now the Aiden. Right out of the box it made an almost excellent pot, at least as good as I used to make with pour-over, using the standard parameters. I'll be fine tuning for a while and expect the Aiden to exceed every other method I've ever used. Worth the price for me!

Expectations not met!

Love the coffee taste but, the coffee keeps dripping after I remove the carafe for both the basket and the single serve. Also I was expecting the carafe to keep the coffee as warm as my Fellow French press (love it!) but it does not. After half an hour, the coffee is tepid.
