Makes incredible coffee. I have tried ever drip coffee maker and nothing touches this thing. Lots of smart features and the pairing with free coffee beans was a nice touch.

I’ve been searching, so long….

This is the coffeemaker I have been searching for, for years. Ability to make single cups of various sizes and pots of coffee. Programmed guides so I don’t have to figure out pour over ratios and timing. I have not had a bad cup or pot yet. It is easy to use and prompts for things I would forget, like switching the shower head setting. The matte black is a bit of a dust collector but that is the Fellow aesthetic. The pot is easy to clean and pours well. I preheat it with boiling water first to help with heat retention. You are better off making single cups if you want to have hot coffee over a long period of time. The only real negative is that now I am considering upgrading to one of the Fellow coffee grinders.

The coffee maker of my dreams!

I’ve had this coffee maker for about a month now. In short, it’s amazing and far exceeds my expectations. I love the at I can make 1 cup in a couple of minutes or a full pot in a few minutes more. Either way, the coffee brewed is awesome and infinitely customizable. The maker is intuitive - it knows if the wrong filter basket is in, if I forgot to put water in, etc. I especially love that I can either brew into the pot or a coffee mug. The interface is easy to use. The little features (like the way the basket snaps in and the way you can snap down the basket handle) make the world of difference when disposing of grinds. Paired with the opus grinder (equally magical) is seamless.

A Great Option

There will always be the ritual of doing a true pour over. Like hand grinding vs electric. Something very tactile, something I feel physically involved with. But, boy there is that techie side of me that just loves setting the numbers and letting it fly. I think the Aiden is a terrific fix for my techie side and I look forward to the app (should have been available at release, lose one star) for easier access to the features. I'm very pleased with the coffee making results. It's a great automated tool, a complement to all the other coffee making methods that still have validity like waking up in the morning and saying "How do I feel like making coffee this morning?". All our comments will help with the next iteration, hardware or software.

Absolutely worth the wait.

It was absolutely worth the wait. This coffee maker makes exceptional coffee. I love the preset brew profiles for the presale coffees, and I’m looking forward to more of that in the future. I’ve barely scratched the surface on customizing my profiles, but I love the options.
I’ve done one batch of cold brew, and it made a pretty good ready-to-drink cold brew. To be fair, the beans I used weren’t ideal. Excited to try a different bean and customize settings a bit.
I was worried that upgrading from another well-regarded but much simpler high-end coffee maker was silly, but I have no regrets. I was pour-over only for so long, but three kids has made an automatic drip a near necessity. My old brewer was great, but this brings back some of the fun of tinkering that pour over provided.
To top it off, it looks so clean on the counter. I love that it matches the matte black aesthetic of my Ode grinder, Stagg kettle, and Atmos container.
Great job on this thing Fellow!

Almost prime time.

The Aiden has settled into our coffee prep fairly well. Initial firmware issues were quickly solved but still waiting for promised functionality with shared profiles etc. It's well-designed and looks great next to the Ode. Programming is easy and reliable every day. Compared to the Moccamaster I noticed it took much longer to brew a full pot and the results were not great at first. I think the Aiden extracts much more flavor from the beans. If the grind is too fine the brew goes bitter. It took a while to figure out that a much coarser grind was needed with identical batches of beans. Going forward, I think it'll get better as I learn the little things.
Really like the small V60 style basket. Using "guided brew" it'll brew up to 3 "cups" with 27g. of coffee. Having the option of a short brew makes Aiden more versatile.
I'm happy with the machine but it would have been better to have the advertised features ready when it shipped.Now we wait.
