White finish is beautiful

Got the white Aiden unit. Beautiful machine & makes great coffee. I can’t speak for the durability, but we are super happy with the purchase thus far. You can dial in your coffee in very granular way. I am having fun making subtlety different flavored coffee from the same beans by playing with the parameters (light — medium — dark roast profiles)

Finally! My coffee soulmate!

We have had our Aiden for a month now and couldn’t be more happy with the purchase! Makes an extremely excellent single serve or batch coffee! So good, that we barely resort to our “Sunday pour over” routine because it tastes THAT GOOD! Love,love,love it! Love the modern aesthetics of the machine. Tucks in neatly on the counter. Anyone that comes over to visit is instantly intrigued by its look, ease of use, customization and then immediately looking it up online to buy once they took a sip! I usually ignore product reviews or surveys, but Aiden deserves my applause!

The best product I’ve bought in years

I never complete these reviews, but I’m so in love with my new coffee maker that I feel like I owed it a review. The machine is so easy to set up and use - and - the coffee is so amazing I’ve stopped making excuses to run out to the local coffee shop in the morning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Coffee maker is great, app is useless

Well so far the coffee maker itself has been great. It does an excellent job making wonderful coffee. My only complaint on the Aiden itself is that the lid on the water reservoir is maddening.
The app however is completely useless. Most of the time spins, doing nothing. Eventually it seems to either crash or error out and makes me re-login to my account. And about half the time, the future that I'm looking for, scheduling, doesn't seem to even show up in the app. It's very weird. Thankfully I don't need it to use this machine. But because the app is so poor it would be nice if the display on the machine was a little more functional and larger.

Great machine some flaws

We've been using this coffee machine for a little over a month. I have one major complaint which has me considering getting rid of it. The brew basket is too small, see the attached picture. The basket and space above is undersized for the volume of coffee that the brewer needs to make full pots of coffee. When using >60g of coffee the coffee rises above the filter and even gets on the brew head. This isn't day old fresh coffee, but closer to two week old coffee from our local roaster. When following the "guided brew" instructions for full (10 cups) pots of light roast which asks for >80g of coffee the machine is left a mess and coffee flowing over the filter (size spec'd by fellow) resulting in coffee grounds in our brew. This feels like an oversight that should have been caught early in testing.
Otherwise, the machine works wonderfully. It's just messy and gets grounds in my coffee. I'm looking for alternate filters that go higher in the basket to help with the latter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great coffee but some flaws which takes away from the overall coffee experience.

Great coffee but too many plastic parts. Also the carafe is thin and does not insulate anything. Poor and cheap tin. My black n decker carafe was much better.

I was expecting so much more …

I was expecting so much more. Don’t get me wrong, the brew is really really good! As a die hard pour over enthusiast, I sincerely appreciate the flavors this thing delivers. And the metal Carafe is superb. But I’m more than a little disappointed on how much plastic there is … the top lid is flimsy and the hinges are awful. Mine gets stuck opening the filter lid. Oh, and there’s no spring stopper valve on the filter so you absolutely have to wait until the brew cycle is done or you’ll flood your counter. Even if it says, waiting for last drips, don’t pull out the carafe. And why do I have to hit the button multiple times on the menu when it’s already showing “instant brew”? Shouldn’t one press start brewing?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Almost amazing

This coffee maker is great - it makes consistently awesome coffee. My morning routine has vastly improved. I initially wasn’t sure I wanted this coffee maker, because it is expensive, and I am ultimately glad I bought it. I got to use one at a friend’s house so that helped. I was making pour overs myself, and kept getting distracted partway through the process. The machine does not get distracted, so things ultimately are higher quality.
I will say - I do not love the UI. I wish that Fellow had included a back button, instead of relying only on the wheel. The screen is obviously a square screen with a circular aperture on top of it, which feels quite lazy. The water tank is a weird shape, and has a handle that protrudes into the opening at the top which makes it awkward when pouring in water.
Hopefully Fellow takes these things into consideration on the next version. I would say I am a lazy user, not a power user, so I have found them workable for the time being.
