Optimized Coffee

Great product - looks nice and many great features. Water tank could be bigger. Interface and be a little tricky, but got the hang quickly. We had this for a year and love it. However, it broke after about a year. I followed all the instructions to diagnose and fix but it was broken. Fellow sent a replacement very quickly. Grateful to them for making it easy on me, however feels wasteful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second Aiden. First one had a glitch after a few months and stopped working so they sent a replacement. It took a few weeks so I did pour overs while I waited. And I did have to send back the broken machine. So annoying but hopefully the problem is resolved.

Mostly GREAT coffee maker

There are so many things to love about this coffee maker. Brews a great pot or cup of coffee. Ability to make a single serving. Daughter loves the cold brew option. I like the timer so coffee can be waiting when I wake up. If I had one complaint, it would be that the carafe does not keep the coffee hot enough. If I make a pot at 5:30 when I wake up, the coffee will be lukewarm when my husband wakes up at 6:00. I understand not wanting a "hot plate" but there should be an option to have a container that keeps the coffee hot.

Aiden + Opus, Café-Level Cups

If you want filtered brew clarity without giving up café-level flavor, Aiden nails it: single cup, full carafe, and even cold brew.
I picked up Aiden in July 2025 with the Opus grinder, and it has made great coffee my default. The extraction is steady, the cups are perfectly balanced, and the results repeat day after day, rivaling...even exceeding...that of the best barista pour-overs.
Why it works in daily use
Single cup or full carafe: Aiden includes a single-cup basket and shower pattern for standard #2 cone filters, plus a basket and shower pattern for batch brews. No proprietary filters or pods. I brew straight into a mug for one or into the handsome Aiden carafe for guests.
Smart presets that reduce guesswork: Choose roast level and cups, and Aiden tells you how much coffee to grind. Press start and it handles the rest. I mostly brew single cups, and sometimes bump the grounds-to-water ratio for a more robust cup.
Profiles that update: Built-in profiles, custom presets for my taste, and special “Fellow Drops” recipes for beans purchased on the Fellow site. Wi-Fi keeps the brewer and profiles current.
Schedule and sip: I can schedule a brew so it’s ready first thing in the morning, which is a small luxury I now refuse to give up.
Cold brew without the mess: The cold brew profile is smooth, silky, and much simpler than the traditional multi-container routine.
Thoughtful app: The Fellow app makes it easy to browse profiles, create new ones, schedule brews, and see exactly how a quality recipe is built. It also reminds me when it’s time to descale.
Easy upkeep: Filters in, grounds out, quick rinse. Maintenance has been simple.
Taste and consistency
Cup quality is clear and balanced with excellent sweetness, matching or exceeding what I get from careful manual pour-overs, and day-to-day consistency is better.

Scheduled brew malfunction

An amazing coffee maker except that recently it won’t complete its scheduled brew so I’m troubleshooting through that (I’ve only had it out of the box’s for three months:/). Otherwise it makes perfect coffee!!!

I picked up the bundle with Ode, and the set looks great on the countertop, consistently earning compliments from visitors. The coffee is great, and I’ve enjoyed pairing it with Fellow drops from time to time.
Only once did I make the mistake of setting up the small batch basket without a receptacle underneath, since this one can’t have the same sensor as the bath basket, but that’s on me. I also wish I could purchase an additional basket separately - the magnet on the batch basket is accumulating coffee grounds (or rust, can’t tell which) and I’m afraid of it failing at some point and not having another on-hand. My last bit of feedback is that the app does log me out quite frequently. I’ve gotten accustomed enough to the Aiden interface that I have found myself reaching for it more often to double check my schedule or how much coffee I need to bring.
Overall, it’s been an incredible upgrade to be able to schedule coffee to be made, and to brew with such precision around ratio, water temp, etc. It’s absolutely been a good value and a morning-altering product.

Aiden aligins with all the other Fellow line up, looks great, but better yet, woks like a champ! Consistent brew every time, and the way Aiden allows such customizations, its just so fun to have so many differnt profiles for yoiur different moods and brews! Love the machine now itching for my Espresso Series 1!

Great coffee maker. I have been making pour-overs for the last 10 years. The Aiden makes a single cup of coffee that is of equally quality and superior consistency.
