Just the Best

Easily the best home coffee I’ve ever had. Only competition out is expert pour overs at coffee shops like Onyx. I bought this and the Ode 2. Worth every penny.
Also, the fresh cold brew this thing makes is unlike any I’ve had. Really a special coffee experience to be able to have at home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Iced coffee drinker wants more ratios!

While I'm getting great results, there's too much math!
I'm an iced coffee drinker who usually brew at 1:15, but where 5 parts of the 15 is ice.
So I went to recreate my usual recipe on my new Aiden by setting a ratio of 1:10, and discovered it won't go lower than 1:14.
Sure. I can brew at 1:15 and just make the coffee dosage 1/10th of the water dosage. But that means Aiden will insist I use the wrong brew basket in edge cases. And I'll have to explain the system to anyone else using my iced coffee profiles.
Can we get ratios enabled that will make ready to flash chill concentrates? Down to 1:10, even 1:8? I don't wanna wait on the cold brew, and don't like that profile as well anyway.

Lives up to the hype!

Purchased the Aiden after lots of research. Coming from making a Chemex for two people every morning, the quality and convenience of the Aiden has truly made each morning better. I love the schedule feature and I’ve found making high quality coffee- from a single batch to 10 cups- to be extremely consistent. Thank you, Fellow, for taking the time to craft an automated device worthy or hand-crafted approval. I can’t recommend this product enough for anyone who is looking to have pour-over quality with incredible ease of use. The extra time afforded me is well-spent actually enjoying the coffee!

Makes great coffee. The carafe is not very good at maintaining heat. The filters are not big (tall) enough to hold 82.5 gms of coffee for 10 cup setting.

I got the Aiden flash a gift for Fathers Day and it’s the perfect gift for a coffee lover. For the first time, my coffee at home tastes just like an Americano from Onyx.

Truly a Brewer for Everyone!

Incredible flexibility between batch and single cup brewing. I did a few side by side with a Hario v60 pour over and I couldn't really tell a difference between Aiden and the pour over. Love that I can do the guided brews and my family who don't care can do the instant brew with no trouble either way. This might be one of the best coffee technologies out there right now.

Great idea with one fatal flaw

So much promise and a lot of it was delivered—a good amount of control over the brew (although a lot of it 'coming soon'), good design, magnetic alignment of the server. It's nice to be able to change the baskets although the simple flat bottom one works best. It's quiet. It has a great display.
ONE MAJOR FLAW!! Why so much fuss about temperature stability (which is great!) and to majorly screw up the heat retention. Guess what! Someone didn't think to seal up the server. Yes, the spout area is completely open! There is no mechanism to prevent heat loss, so after a few minutes your beautiful brew is lukewarm. Every Amazon carafe I bought has that—a mechanism to seal up the top.
I was going to replace all of the automatic pour over makers we use with Aiden, but sadly not this time, at least not until it's redesigned. Having used many Fellow products, this one falls short the most.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a love/hate relationship with Aiden

OK... had this about a month now... LOVE it because it saves me time and it brews some very good coffee for my wife and I. DISLIKE it because the app and Aiden itself really doesn't come with a lot of the features as promised out the box... more like a coming soon thing... HATE that the most recent app update (1.1.0) somehow broke the bluetooth connection to my Aiden and after a week plus of troubleshooting with Fellow rep I'm getting a replacement. Hoping the replacement has no issues. Overall I'm still happy with the purchase and that Fellow is sending a replacement first before I return the old unit, but I can't help having the feeling of wishing it did everything that was promised, with no hiccups from day one.
