Xbox on massive screen

The huge screen instantly makes everything feel more immersive — from open-world games to competitive shooters. Colors are vibrant, motion is smooth, and the HDR really pops.
Just make sure you have fast internet.

Can't go wrong with OLED, 4 stars due to issues

Filmmaker mode looks odd, so would need to switch to Cinema mode for "old" Filmmaker functionality that I saw in my 77inch CX model. Sound quality is great, better than expected coming from the TV itself. The UI in the CX is much better than what is available in the G5: the screensaver pushes ads constantly, if you let the TV idle, it'll play ads. I still need to mess around with the settings to see how I can disable these ads or if it's even possible to disable them in the first place.
Much brighter than the CX. The one feature so far that I've noticed does not work is the Screen Share for laptops/PCs. Maybe this can be fixed in the future with a software update but as of now, I can only mirror my phone using Google Cast but sharing PC screen does not work as it did in the CX.
The magic remote that came with the CX is miles better than the one that comes with the G5. There is no dedicated mute button so you have to sit there with your thumb on the volume until it goes all the way down. The cursor movement is controlled by the "enter" button as was in the CX remote but it seems much easier to accidentally enable the cursor when you're trying to press enter with this new remote.
Overall, the experience and picture quality has been great so far. I'm hoping that some of the issues that I've experienced can be remedied by messing with the settings, waiting for a future software update, and possibly buying a different remote that is compatible with the G5.

Beautiful Cinematic Experience atHome

Movies, sports, and gaming look incredible thanks to its cinematic scale and fast response time. The thin, elegant design makes it feel like a piece of modern art in the living room, while the built-in sound is surprisingly robust for such a slim frame. WebOS is smooth and easy to use, offering quick access to streaming apps and smart features. It’s definitely a premium investment, but the immersive viewing experience and sheer visual brilliance make it worth every penny. My only regret is not getting a bigger one!

Awesome Picture Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The G5 delivers a vibrant, lifelike HDR picture. Especially the deep black levels and the contrast is excellent. The TV looks like a pircture frame on the wall. I got 83 inch tv and I am really happy with the sound quality especially when connected to the LG S95 AR sound sytem, it feels like you are watching content in a theatre.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG OLED83G5WUA is a jaw-dropping TV with a gorgeous design and huge 83-inch display that really makes an impact. The HDR performance is out of this world with how the colors pop, and the intensity of the brightness, especially coming from my old LG C9. I watched Planet Earth during the day, and the picture was still amazing, even with sunlight coming through the windows.
Pro tip: If it looks a little crooked when mounted, don't stress about it, and just tilt it to adjust assuming you use the provided mount. Overall, this TV delivers stunning picture quality and is perfect for anyone who wants a truly immersive viewing experience.

Great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great TV, awesome picture quality, however, the stand is not good for me. Stand is at the center and appears unstable (my older LG has two each at the edges) and tilted makes eye distance farther on the top side than the bottom which may have strained my eyes. The four star is because of the stand, otherwise TV is 5 star. Tried to call LG if they can change to wall mount service and return the stand, but they said they can't do. So, I would probably return the TV and buy it again with wall mount. I have all appliances and TVs only LG, love it.
