This microwave works well. Replaced a 30+ year old Sears Kenmore microwave oven. I wish the control button labels were a little brighter. I have a small over-the-counter shelf space for the micro and this was the only unit I could find that had the exact same dimensions as my old unit. The Wi-Fi option looks interesting but I haven't tried it yet.

This model replaced a similar GE Profile model of about 12 ago that finally quit. This new model is quieter, very attractive, and works great. I marked it down one star due to a silly new safety feature that requires you hit the Cancel button to open the door when it is finished. This I find needless and slightly annoying.

To permanently disable the child lock, press and hold the “7” key for 3–5 seconds until you hear a beep. Then press “9” followed by “0.”

OK, but could be better

this unit functions reasonably well, but it seems unnecessarily loud when running and the door is clunky and not smooth when opening or closing it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good for a small microwave.

We had to replace our same GE microwave with this one because of our size requirements. The last one only lasted 4 years so hopefully this one will last longer. The door latch feels flimsy. I don’t have high hopes. For some reason they moved one hole on the top of the unit so it no longer lined up with the holes drilled for the previous unit. Why?

Great replacement microwave

We purchased a GE Profile microwave to replace a broken GE Monogram microwave. The size of the new product matched the old one so it was an easy install. The new microwave looks and works the same as the old one. It is perfect for us!
