Wonderful product

We love the size of it and the fact that it cooks and reheats things so fast. My daughter and I love the door lock feature and that you have to press the cancel button to unlock it to open the door. This feature is wonderful because of small children in the house at times. The power and wattage is amazing, it’s better than my last microwave. Also the heat snide dimensions are so much better than my old one. I’m so glad I made the decision to upgrade to this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The three biggest features this has are:
(1) A handle to open the door with. The push button door openers always seem fickle, if not durable.
(2) The unit's weight.and foot construction is such that the unit does not slide around on the counter top when you are pressiong buttons or opening an closing doors. I didn't have to juryrig something to keep this from moving around when opening the doors like I did on the push-button open models.
(3) Further, in regards to the push button feature on the other units, they have now become ridiculous to use and enjoy. Microwave now come with "added Safety Features" to prevent children from doing whatever children have discovered to do with a microwave. We started with another brand that was on sale. However, that unit required pushing two buttons to open it. Anyone with arthritis or who are even a little challenged with coordination is NOT going to like that over-though "safety" feature. It was simply not well designed. This unit simply locks the door while under power and you have to push the open door button when reaching for the handle. It is really not an imposition. I like this design much better. I understand that ALL manufacuturers have had to move to a higher level of idiot proofing use of the appliance. Like comedian Ron Green says, "You can't fix stupid!"
So in some regards writing a review within the first few days seems premature. However, I will say that I am impressed with the unit so far. Getting used to a few features will always be an issue, but this one seems have designed in practical, if not easy to use features. I like it.

Works Good but some drawbacks

Like it so far. Very limited instructions. Don't like the lock feature on the door and can't figure how to turn it off. Display is dark and how to read.

New microwave after 39 years.

Very sleek microwave2.2cuft. The last Ge microwave I replaced was from 1986. It only had one fuse blow until magnetron quit. The only reason I bought a new microwave is because I couldn’t find a replacement magnetron. I will miss the old microwave, it was so reliable.
