Great scooter, great battery life

I bought two of these, one for each of my teenagers who are active equestrians and will be using these to ferry themselves around venues, take themselves to nearby shopping, etc. I've tried it myself a couple of times. It is very well designed, assembles quickly and easily. Once you're going it's stable and handles well.
It's peppy, but if I had any minor complaint, it's that the advertised "30KM/hr" isn't achievable here in CA, as it violates local laws.... so there's a governor that keeps it to 20KM/hr, which honestly, is more than adequate.
Can't speak to recharge life on the battery or long term reliability of the scooter mechancis, as we just received them. But it appears very well designed, very well cosntructed, so my engineer sense says it should be quite durable. Here's hoping.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Even shipping date was guaranteed.
So expect a month to deliver

32 km range not 60 km range! Money back thanks.

The scooter had a 32 km range not 60 km range! Returned after Segway refused to send a replacement battery. It seems like they put the grey models batteries in the dark model Segway like no one would notice. Check your range if your not getting 50+ km range return it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of fun

Great quality, fun to ride, I put monorim front and rear suspension, gives it a great ride.
And you end up with more clearance.
I haven't had the battery drop below 60% yet. Even using it two days in a row without charging. It charged fast. Solid feeling scooter.

Awesome scooter

This is a proven performer, great quality. I wanted something to take my shepherd on trails. I added the front and rear monorim suspension. Well worth the upgrade just for the extra comfort.
I know there's a new model coming in July. But
A. I didn't want to wait.
B. The G30 has been available for 4 years. And a proven quality scooter
C. With the upgraded suspension I'm willing to bet it does better off road than the new model because I gained almost an extra inch of clearance the G2 is still recommend for road use only. The new G2 still looks lower and hes less shock travel than the Monorim suspension.
We'll see how the reviews are of the G2 in 6 or so months.

The setup was a breeze.
Just connect the handle bars to the stem and screw in 6 screws.
Then check the tire pressure to make sure it's at least 32psi.
Then connect the app to the scooter to activate it. Done.

The ride is smooth.
Regenerative braking works as expected when you let go of the throttle.
Brakes are very good.
As a 180lb dude, either Sport mode or Drive mode can get me up a hill. That's reassuring.

Flying without leaving the ground.

Very happy with this purchase. I almost bought it on sale at Canadian Tire, and Best Buy ran a 3-day flash sale that saved me $400 from CTire. Easy to set up. Quality materials in its manufacture. It has a fantastic free management app provides additional information about the Segway Ninebot G30P MAX Scooter. This is an adult scooter. It has a full lighting system front and back and an integrated bell in the handle. The low stance of the battery pack and weight make for a low centre of gravity and a safe and solid ride. I did purchase gloves plus elbow and knee pads because the thing can do 30 km/hour at top speed. I am more worried about a pothole or road hazard than the unlikely failure of a scooter component. With my helmet, I feel safe. It folds nicely and fits in most trunks. Driving on paths near Lake Ontario is like flying without leaving the ground.
I was so impressed with this Best Buy purchase I also bought a Best Buy Segway Ninebot S Max - Electric Self-Balancing Scooter - Open Box at half price. It arrived as brand new and I am in the process of charging and setting it up for a test drive. I will publish my review soon.
