Great quality. Priced high- but worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The temperature and taste of this coffee are out of this world. It is also really easy to clean which I love. The design is sleek and the pot is high quality and very durable. The capacity is good, however if you want to make cold brew you can only make a small amount.

We have had a precision brewer until our recent purchase of the luxe. I’m sure it’s just a learning curve but the precision brewer was much easier to operate. With that said the coffee is wonderful on both units!
I purchased just a few weeks ago and have been very pleased. I particularly like that the water tank is removeable and that the showerhead can also be removed and cleaned.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Previous Generation Owner

We have had the previous generation now for 5 yrs still making great coffee every day. The quality of your coffee beans has a lot to do with the taste and quality of your cup of Joe. I’m sure we will upgrade to this one someday!!
Purchased last month. This is the "science " of coffee making. Had to experiment to see amount of coffee that worked best for me - whether to add a scoop for the maker. I just do 4 cups since it's just for me and 4 scoops works perfect. The maker works very quick - 4 minutes for 4 cups. Keeps the coffee hot for a good while & the brewed coffee is 🔥 ! Breville is excellent product ! Keep up the good work.

Great coffee, no manual

Love the performance, but you have to include a full manual for this price. The quick start/parts list does not explain how the filter works at all. Used it a few weeks before figuring out the gasket mechanism works, with hollow ends that the filter turns and locks into place, also locking the gasket onto the carafe. The image just shows pushing straight down, nothing about twisting to lock in place.

I wanted to love this brewer but it has not met my expectations

I love Breville products so I had high hopes for this brewer given the price. Brewing 24 ounces of coffee works well but trying to brew the full 60 ounces just doesn’t work. I tried all of the trouble shooting suggestions but no matter what I do about 12 ounces of water remain in the tank and the pot is not full. This, of course, changes the desired strength of the coffee.

We are truly sorry for your experience. We will send a separate email to you and hope you will give us the opportunity to correct the situation.
I've had this for a few weeks and have had some issues. One is when I brew 4 cups or less the water tank still has about a cup of water left in it.
The other issue is I don't think it likes filtered well water. I set the hardness level based upon the test results, but the coffee has almost a metallic aftertaste. I switched to bottled water and it went away for the most part, but I'm guessing the water hardness may need to be tested again based upon now using bottled water.
I don't have any of these issues when brewing expresso or using a French press, so I'm not sure what to do at this point. Breville support has been slow to respond.
