Sounds worse than regular TV speakers. Forces app

Regular TV sounds better than this bar. After AI calibration you cannot hear the surround sounds or sub. You are forced to download an app in order to use the product. I received this product free with my TV and it is was a waste of technology and materials. The design is nice but quality is non-existent.

After six months of use, the rear right speaker stopped working, I took it in for repair under warranty. The motherboard was replaced.

Lg G5 + S95TR owner hoping for a miracle

I have tried every conceivable way to get my S95TR working properly. HDMI from the bar to eARC port on my LG G5 OLED, also tried optical connection, and the wireless option. No matter what I do or how I change the settings the sound this bar emits is entirely hollow and tinny. Voices sound extremely bright and the constant giant fluctuation of volume throughout most programs is driving my better half insane. In order to hear normal voices you have to turn it way up… first action scene and you are forced to manually adjust the volume way back down. This is further complicated by the new remote included with the LG G5 which mutes the program entirely when you hold the volume down button for more than 2 seconds. WoW orchestra does not improve anything and as far as I can tell the TV’s native speakers do not emit any sound when this feature is enabled which is a shame because the built in speakers in the G5 sound fantastic when compared to the soundbar alone. I wish the soundbar added to rather than replaced the TVs sound output but alas no it does not. I wish I had something better to say about the S95TR but I woefully regret this purchase and now my only hope is for a firmware update that fixes this untunable audio nightmare.

I’m in love with the sound, it’s incredible! You get clear dialogue, powerful bass, and a real theater-like feel. It matched the photos and description perfectly, with a sleek design that blends right in. When I received it setup was quick and painless, and it connected to my TV without any hassle. Right now, it’s on my entertainment center, but I’ll be mounting it soon. LG made that simple by including the accessories and tools needed. Overall, this sound bar has really elevated my movie nights, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality upgrade.
