This coffee maker replaces our old one of the same model. It finally died after 6 years of constant grinding and brewing! We really like the quality that was built into this machine, so we decided to replace it with another. We have never had a coffee maker live so long!

We like the whole bean or ground flexibility. The whole bean option is ok- I like my grind to be a bit finer (it uses a lot of beans/pot). The basket for grounds is a bit undersized- it fills to the top and can bet messy to remove the coffee filter. The coffee is good though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent coffee maker. Great for ground coffee as well as whole bean grinding! Super easy to set up program and base keeps coffee nice and hot. I find it hard to read the water level though as I am filling the tank. Other than that it is probably the best coffee maker I have owned.

Poorly designed carafe. Water leaks from plastic trim along the carafe top. They wouldn’t replace carafe so I returned the machine. Plenty of reviews said the same thing, I should have listened to the reviews.
