Perfect coffee due to machine grinder which freshly grinds beans for each pot brewed. The ratio of water to beans is perfect and the strength of the grind has a mild to bold indicator to choose from. Perfect machine!

I have been a Cuisinart grind and brew user for many many years. I decided to treat myself to the grind and brew burr grinder because I heard that’s better than the blade grinder, but I don’t agree with that. The hot plate doesn’t really keep the coffee that hot for long periods of time and I like having more control over the amount of beans that I use. I find 8 cups of water and, eight things of beans makes it very weak cup of coffee so I use 7 cups of water and eight things of beans and it’s it’s better but not great

Coffee maker works great 90% of the time! Only slight issue is when using paper filters they overflow and let some grinds into the coffee (even on 8 cups at medium strength).

On the positive side the grind feature makes a consistantly good cup of coffee. The issues I have are that their is always coffee grounds in the pot after brewed. Also the default setting that I use to maintain coffee temp on the burner is a period of 2 hours. On occasion, the warmer turns off well before that time. Sometimes off within 30 minites. Also., I have had the coffee overflow during the brewing. Pot is positioned on the burner correctly. Note that I also have a earlier version of this cuisant Coffeemaker that works very well. Not very happy with the purchase.
