The cuisinart burr grinder coffee maker is the best coffee maker we have ever had!! Even though we have had a previous model belonging to cuisinart, this new model is the best yet. It is a no mess, easy clean machine!! I highly recommend to anyone who wants a great cup of coffee that is no fuss no muss.

BEST coffee maker I’ve ever had bar none…..brews the perfect cup everytime, and it’s the freshest cup of coffee you’ll ever have with grinding the beans….The Burr Grinder is actually pretty quiet as well, it won’t wake the neighbors when it’s programmed for early morning! We have been using this coffee maker for about 1 month now, and it has been great so far. Previously we used a spice grinder to grind beans every 1-2 weeks and stored them. Having fresh ground beans daily is a huge difference over pre-ground and the coffee is not bitter. It is easy to just pour beans in the top and let it do the work for you whether you use manual or auto brew. One thing about the unit is the height. It fits under the cabinet with about 1-2 inches of clearance. I have not yet noticed if it creates steam like some of our previous coffee makers, but we have not kept it under the cabinet for now. The grinder isn't too loud, although if I happen to fall asleep in the living room (which is right next to the kitchen) the automatic bean grinder does wake me up - it doesn't wake me up if I am in the bedroom that shares a wall with the kitchen. My husband cleaned the grinder today, it was easy and it took only a few minutes. So far it has been very easy to use and easy to clean. Things we do to keep clean: open it to let it air dry for the day, use filtered water (brita mostly), and change the filters every 2 months. For the price I got it for with a 40% off coupon I am very satisfied. Something for improvement, perhaps having more of selection of grind types, but if you're going from spice grinder to Burr grinder it will be so much better. If the thermal stainless carafe were available at this price for the 12 cup, I would have bought it instead. The only reason I would want the stainless carafe is because I have previously broken the glass types and not because of temperature, the coffee does stay hot in the glass carafe.
Overall, we are very happy with the purchase! It has made life easier and coffee taste better!

I like that I can use either whole bean or ground coffee. It will hold a large(about 1/2 lb) of whole beans. No need to fill it every day. You can adjust the strength for that perfect cup. Set up and cleaning the filter holder and carafe are easy. The grinder is quiet, unlike other whole bean grinders.
