Makes good coffee with fresh-ground beans. A delight for my morning. This seems to be very consistent. One other reviewer complained that the carafe drips when pouring. I have found this to be a problem only when the carafe is completely full.

After 10 years of flawless service, my old grind and brew suddenly stopped working just as I returned from vacation! I read reviews that praised burr grinders, and when I saw that Cuisinart had a 12 cup model, I was all about it.
