[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I like about this coffee maker is that it’s an all in one. You can buy whole beans and then freshly brew it each time you make coffee. Coffee is much fresher this way and has a richer taste to it. Directions were pretty self explanatory. The programming allows you to adjust the strength of the coffee as well. Overall clean up was easy too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty easy to use. Grinds whole coffee beans and makes 12 cups of fresh coffee or less if you chose. The unit itself looks like restaurant quality style. Comes with it's own pot for brewing and instructions on how to use the build in grinder, coffee brewing & all it's setting. Great addition to any kitchen.

Multiple problems. Fickle about being programmed. Hard to pour without the spout spilling. Main issue was the grounds basket would frequently leak over the sides all over the pot, plate, and countertop. Returned it a month after getting it.

We have had a Burr Grind & Brew 12-cup Coffee maker for several years. When the first one died we got another. This is our third. We really liked the 2 previous ones in spite of the difficulties with pouring from the insulated curafe. The new glass curafe is easier to pour from but it is difficult to get the water into the reservoir. The water has to be poured from the curafe over the open lid to the reservoir. This is difficult. The water cannot be poured from the side because of the overflow hole. the water splashes out of the hole. If there was a guard over the hole it would be possible to pour from the side greatly improving the use of the machine. I do like the fact that the grinder does not have to be opened for cleaning. In general it works very well. Cuisinart could make an insert to divert the water away from the overflow hole and send it to all customers who have bought this coffee maker.

Decent coffeemaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smell of fresh coffee grounds in the morning and was very excited for this machine. It's beautifully designed and has large capacity for the whole family. The grinding function is loud, but is expected. The grounds do make a bit of a mess, and I find that it does slightly jam once in a while. The coffeemaker function works well.

While I do love my grind and brew I am finding that it uses a lot more beans than my previous grind and brew. I have tried different settings but it still uses more beans than I think it should

Worked for about 4 pots of coffee then wouldnt brew. The only reason its getting 3 stars instead of 1 is that cuisinart is sending us another coffee pot. Hopefully that one works.

We got this to replace the DGB-600 which left a significant amount of ground beans in the grinding area. This one is fine although the ground beans don’t seem to be as fine as with earlier Cuisinarts we have had in the past and thus require more beans to be ground.
