I’m so sad. I have used a Cuisinart grind and brew for over 20 years. I loved them!! I ordered a new one-it didn’t work. Reordered another and it didn’t work either. So I returned it also.

I hate the design of your caraffe spout because it does not pour without dripping. I also do not like that the top of the caraffe does not securely fit on the top, it just kind of sits there. I would think that for as long as you have been designing coffeemakers, you would be able to provide a better designed coffee pot.

Utterly disappointed with what has always been a wonderful brand. The LCD display has failed already - within 2 months of turning it on the first time - and according to the mfr this is not a replaceable part. These are backordered past the end of 2022 so cannot even get a replacement. Even worse, tho, this has no feature to reheat coffee in the pot!!! You can't turn the warming plate back on without brewing more coffee TERRIBLE and so sad.

This appliance did not live up to the Cuisinart name in my opinion. The first unit I bought I had to return because of unclear instructions which caused the unit to go through 2 grinding cycles. The problem was when you push the brew button, there is no immediate indication that the cycle has started. So, I held the brew button down, which put the machine into a mode which attempted to grind all the beans in the hopper. There needs to be immediate response on the display, or an indicator light somewhere that the brew cycle is starting. The brew button does light up in the center but you cannot see that because it is covered by the thumb/finger pushing the button. So I returned that unit - and tried again with a new one, I finally figured out what was going on with the brew cycle and was able to manage that in spite of the poor design. However I then discovered ground beans on the side of the brew basket were not getting water, i.e. were still dry. This happened with the filter basket, and even when I used a paper filter. Returned that unit, and bought a Bunn and a coffee grinder. No product should require that much effort to figure out and use properly. I've had it with Cuisinart.

After about 15 years of daily use, I had to replace my old Grind and Brew. There are several design improvements to this model, including self-cleaning burr grinder, quieter grind,a one-piece drip basket, and additional warning messages.

Love this machine, BUT: I am now on my 4th one in 4 weeks. Machine is great, but apparently, it needs some i.t. Help with design flaws. The warmer plate shuts off immediately after brew cycle…can be programmed for 4 hour shut off. Got my 4th one today and will find out tomorrow if it is damaged like all the rest. Makes a great cup of coffee though

Sadly, after about 10 years, our burr and grind coffee maker started having problems. We were quite bummed that our model was no longer being made, and the price had appreciated significantly. Well, we bit the bullet and ended up upgrading with the new model. The grinding is slightly less loud, but the entire grinding/brewing array is much easier to use and clean. The quality of the coffee continues to be excellent. Our one ‘regret’ is that the new model doesn’t come with a 12-cup stainless carafe. We truly enjoyed that feature, even if pouring from it was a pain.
