I love this coffeemaker! I had the previous model for almost 20 years till it finally gave out. improved features on this newer model made it an easy choice to purchase, and I am not disappointed at all. there is nothing like having fresh ground coffee in the morning.. or evening. or anytime for that matter. just get some good quality beans, locally roasted if possible and you will never be disappointed in your coffee!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have tried multiple times now to brew a pot of coffee without spilling water outside the reservoir, but this design is terrible.
The water is poured into the back, so the entire machine has to be pulled towards the edge of the counter to reach it.
The reservoir is shaped like an afterthought wrapped around the back of the machine, with its widest point being no more than an inch wide at the corners. There is no way to pour a pot of water into that small opening without it running down the side or missing it all together.
The Coffee bean hopper cannot be cleaned out, and barely holds more than enough for 12 cups.
The lid to the pot itself is too wide of a spout or isn't snapping shut properly, so it either pours too much or too little.
Terrible design.

Good coffee maker with lid issues

Purchased as a replacement for similar Cuisinart coffee maker with stainless carafe. Replaced due to a problem with the lid/pour spout. Leaked badly and got tired of fooling with it. This coffee maker is identical except for this one has the glass carafe and is 12 cups rather than 10. The good is it grinds and brews nicely. The bad is this lid will not snap in place, thus you have to hold it with your thumb so it does not fall off while pouring. Unlikely to purchase another Cuisinart. Quality Control is not to acceptable standards and I do not want to go through more aggravation like I did with the last problem. Have not had long enough to attest to longevity.

I’m so sad. I have used a Cuisinart grind and brew for over 20 years. I loved them!! I ordered a new one-it didn’t work. Reordered another and it didn’t work either. So I returned it also.

Coffee pot design.

I hate the design of your caraffe spout because it does not pour without dripping. I also do not like that the top of the caraffe does not securely fit on the top, it just kind of sits there. I would think that for as long as you have been designing coffeemakers, you would be able to provide a better designed coffee pot.

Utterly disappointed with what has always been a wonderful brand. The LCD display has failed already - within 2 months of turning it on the first time - and according to the mfr this is not a replaceable part. These are backordered past the end of 2022 so cannot even get a replacement. Even worse, tho, this has no feature to reheat coffee in the pot!!! You can't turn the warming plate back on without brewing more coffee TERRIBLE and so sad.

DIsappointing Coffeemaker

This appliance did not live up to the Cuisinart name in my opinion. The first unit I bought I had to return because of unclear instructions which caused the unit to go through 2 grinding cycles. The problem was when you push the brew button, there is no immediate indication that the cycle has started. So, I held the brew button down, which put the machine into a mode which attempted to grind all the beans in the hopper. There needs to be immediate response on the display, or an indicator light somewhere that the brew cycle is starting. The brew button does light up in the center but you cannot see that because it is covered by the thumb/finger pushing the button.
So I returned that unit - and tried again with a new one, I finally figured out what was going on with the brew cycle and was able to manage that in spite of the poor design. However I then discovered ground beans on the side of the brew basket were not getting water, i.e. were still dry. This happened with the filter basket, and even when I used a paper filter. Returned that unit, and bought a Bunn and a coffee grinder. No product should require that much effort to figure out and use properly. I've had it with Cuisinart.

After about 15 years of daily use, I had to replace my old Grind and Brew. There are several design improvements to this model, including self-cleaning burr grinder, quieter grind,a one-piece drip basket, and additional warning messages.
