The Coffee Maker and Coffee grinder looks good and works well. Always a perfect cup of coffee. My only issue is the coffee grinds seems to fly out of the basket leaving grinds around the basket area.

Love the grinder but unhappy with filter basket. Neither paper filter nor gold basket filters grounds out of coffee!! Using both causes overflow. Using both but max of 10 cups of water on medium grind fills basket. Why did I spend extra on 12 cup model???

Weve wanted one of these for a long time. Buying did not disappoint us. Its a luxury to have one of these, and it works as we expected. Coffee is rich and it came with a grounds basket, so no need for filters, though you can use them. Nice coffee pot, and worth the money.

The Burr grinder on this unitwas intermittent so the coffee was inconsistent. I returned it and purchased a DGB-400. I also use a DGB-400 in my Canadian summer house and am very happy with both.

Had to replace the first one due to the burr grinder not working. Neither of the coffee makers keep time. They gain a minute about every two days. You have to keep resetting the clock if you want use the automatic start.

We have been using a french press and percolator for the last few years. The coffee has been great, but we wanted to get back to a grind and brew coffee maker with auto programming and burr grinder built in.
Cuisinart has been our go to brand of coffee maker over the years. We did try a couple of other brands, but they were far more expensive and we felt the cost didn't yield us better features or a similar taste result of our french press and percolator.
We've had this one since right after Christmas. It's been working fine. Read the owner manual. There are great tips for brewing great coffee. Remember, the type of coffee beans matter. It's a personal choice too. We prefer Columbian Arabica for a medium body coffee brew with low acidity.
The only problem we've had is finding paper filters that fit the basket housing. Most have sides that are too high or too low, both of which cause different problems with overflowing grinds. We're using the gold metal filter that came with it, but prefer paper to quell some of the balance we look for in a great cup of coffee.

I bought a new grind and brew because my old Cuisinart grind and brew died after 7 years. It works as it should. However, the carafe will not allow you to pour without dripping, it's impossible to pour cleanly. Fortunately, I kept the old carafe and use it with the new coffeemaker. This carafe doesn't drip.

Unfortunately the coffee brews pretty weak. I use the strongest setting, but I think the issue is the grind is very coarse - so it fills up the filter with the right amount, but just not a fine enough grind for my taste. I had another version before that was a little better. I solve this by just brewing a smaller amount of water, but unfortunately that means I can't get a full pot with full strength, and then it's a little inefficient on the usage of the beans.
