Easy to use. Have. Easily grilled reubens, grilled cheese, pancakes and chicken breasts. Have not attempted burgers or thicker beef cuts yet. Much prefer the straightforward controls as opposed to the obscure Tfal approach

The fold flat ability is sooo handy. The adjustable temperature is awesome so it cooks things evenly. It’s so easy to clean and the plates are not heavy. The whole thing is surprising light. I love this thing! I have a small stove & a small kitchen. Now, I can cook a big breakfast with ease instead of having to keep items warm in the oven because I can’t fit more than one large pan on my stove. I can do pancakes, bacon or French toast on the griddle while eggs & hash browns can cook in the stove. I grill chicken 3-4 times a week and every time it’s terrific.

I picked the right option thanks to the reviews. It's hard to pin down the best feature but for now I'm going with the removable, easy clean grill/griddle plates. The timer and temperature settings are also a highlight along with the one touch preheat.
My criticism would be the size. Why would you not design this to fit in a standard cabinet. After rearranging the cabinet contents to make room I find out its too tall to fit
between the shelves. I had one cabinet in the lower cabinet that was wide enough and tall enough to accommodate the width and height. The one condition my wife had was that "if we get it, it can't stay on top of the counter ". Almost had to send it back. Now she loves it too.

This item is amazing. I can cook chicken thighs, steaks, and burgers for dinner in a matter of minutes and I only ever have to clean the two plates and the drip tray. I can also make quesadillas or grilled cheese in an instant. I also love that it lets you know when it is hot - no more soggy or underdone grilled sandwiches because I didn't know the pan wasn't hot enough!

I ordered non-brand compatible waffle plates. Between those and the grill plates it comes with, I use it everyday. I wish there was a way to turn the volume/beeping sounds OFF when setting the time and temperature. It's annoying.

This is no our second one. Many uses in the kitchen. Like it so much that when the first one got old after many years of use I bought a new one. Great for grilled sandwiches and meats as well as bacon, eggs and pancakes.
