A big improvement over the earlier version of the Griddler, which this replaces. I like the digital screen for setting time and temperature as well. But my favorite improvement is the fact that the griddler beeps when temp is reached. I also like that when I set the grill to 450 to grill a steak, it automatically reduces to 425 after the initial sear.
The heating surface is smaller than my old machine, but still just adequate enough to cook up to six burgers at a time.
Now, if you’ve resolved the fact that my old griddler plates warped from heat after a year of use, I’ll say this machine is darn near perfect.

Love, love, LOVE the Griddler 5! It's well built and easy to use and clean. We rarely put ours away. We've made paninis, Reubens, pancakes, and eggs. It grills chicken, burgers and chops perfectly in a snap.
