I love that the heating base separates so I can wash the popcorn base under water! Great popcorn popper. The only drawback to me is the popping base is smaller than most popcorn poppers that I’ve had in the past. So far I’ve been very pleased with it.

Slow to get started. did seem to pop ok but didn’t hold much corn. Big Problem was the removable popping base. Tricky to insert didn’t fit well no mater what I did. Turning it over when popped was also a challenge to remove popping base. The removable top steam cover seemed warped and hard to fit on. All in all, quite disappointed.

This product has a superior design to allow removal of the red part of device when the popping is done. This avoids needing to turn the heavy bottom of the device upside down when the popping is done. This issue is seen with other brands of popcorn makers, such as Stir Crazy by West Bend, that stir the kernels with a moving wire arm.
