Love the way it pops all the kernels, just makes eating popcorn special, can add melted butter and other ingredients after it is finished, plus I use the convenience of eating out of the popper and its very easy to clean everything.

The popcorn popper is wellmade and works well. I have used it about a dozen times and it has performed very well. The removable stirring plate makes it easy to flip the lid/popcorn bowl over for use as a bowl. The large vent area at the top keeps steam from condensating in the bowl so it does not get soggy during the popping process. Each time I had less than 6 kernals that did not pop. The only drawback for me, I had to take the stirring bar off and make a few adjudtments to the angle of it due to it being set too high out of the box. It did not catch the majority of the unpopped kernals while stirring. A couple of bends and now I am very pleased with my popper!
After flipping the popcorn, I place the stirring plate in the sink. The base is still extremely hot and cause burning of any left over oil or butter residue in the stirring pan.

This is my third Cuisinart popcorn maker and I do like the smooth dome. The stirring arm reverses way too often and the heating element seems to be more cheaply made than the older version.
All in all it still makes good popcorn.

I was using a competitor's popcorn popper with a stirrer, and its flimsy build pales in comparison to the Cuisinart Popcorn Popper. The popcorn popper's base is sturdy, and its stiffer plastic construction is also sturdy. I look forward to many years of use.
