We thought another cuisinart coffee maker would be awesome. For years our old one made consistent good coffee and it stayed HOT. Our chief complaint about this new pot is the coffee does not stay hot. The thermal pot keeps it hot about 20-30 minutes. We drink coffee from one pot from 5 am to 9 am. Now we have to pour it into a cup, microwave it for 20-30 seconds to get it to a temperature we enjoy.
Unable to find anything in the instructions to provide a clue about keeping it hot, like freshly dripped hot coffee.

Really nice coffee maker. I do the 1-4 setting with Cacao and it works great. The thermos keeps it warm all day. There is and probably always will be a bit of a problem with the hot water moisture with the fringing of the whole bean inside. Just gotta do a bit of extra cleaning

I love this coffee maker, much better than the one we previously had. It’s much simpler and so easy to wash the innards. The coffee comes out delicious, and the coffee maker stays hot for a much longer time. The grinder is perfect, very, very happy with this coffee maker.

The water system is weird and the grinder is useless. I haven’t used it in almost a week and it’s still soaking wet. I’ll be replacing it with something else.

Thus is my first experience with a grind and brew maker. This one makes a decent, smooth cup of coffee, has a set and brew function, 1-4 cup setting (still unclear of its function), and an option to turn the grinder off. Also, unclear why it has a burner with a SS carafe.
Areas for improvement:
The SS carafe. Its the WORST thing about this coffee maker. It has a horrible pour; to empty you have to take the top off, turn it completely upside down and hope it doesn't spill everywhere.
EXCESSIVE CLEANING AFTER EACH BREW. Coffee grinds everywhere inside the unit. Wet grinder, which makes a drippy mess.
No control over grind fineness or brew strength. This blade grinder leaves lots of large bean chunks in the filter, which is wasting a lot of flavor.
Grinder is LOUD. Like, wake the spouse up loud. Make sure you don't have sleeping babies when using.
All in all, its decent. I believe 4 stars is a bit excessive, closer to 3.5, due to the horrible carafe, loud grinder and lack of grind/brew control.

I had a Cuisinart Grind Coffee maker for more than 7 years. It was the best. I replaced with another Cuisinart Grind and Ground Coffee Maker. It is exceptional!! The best coffee comes after you grind the beans!!

The auto grinder coffee maker was not up to par. The grinder didn’t hold up to the grind I prefer. The noise was incredible, especially first thing in the morning. The coffee was that of weak tea. Sorry, I’m only being honest. I was truly disappointed.
