Very inconvenient to use. Needs complete cleaning and drying of the coffee bean chamber every time you use it since the chamber become full of water droplets. Poor design. Had the 900 for years and loved it until the grinder finally failed.

I don't like it at all. It was a gift from a friend at Christmas. I wish I could return it. The concept is great but the functionality is terrible.

At least 15 years ago, we received this coffee maker as a gift. We liked it so much, we just purchased it again (updated version). The old one was still working, but looking its age. I like the new “clean” feature that our old one lacked. It’s hard to find a coffee maker that grinds the beans and comes with a thermal carafe. Coffee tastes great!

I got this coffee maker through a rewards program. It makes coffee very quickly and it’sa good brew. Negatives: if you use the grinder and have it auto set to brew, it sounds like a jet taking off in your house. Make sure it's a time you want to wake up - much louder than any alarm clock!
Also the directions for set up were very minimal. I was frustrated trying to figure it out and was about ready to return it to the company. Eventually everything was in place and running smoothly

I inherited a 650 that finally bit the dust. Was going to get another, but not available. Cuisinart phone rep suggested the 450. Really like it. Easier to clean than the 650 & doesn't get as messy. Dishwasher safe for cleaning.
