We were gifted the Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffee machine for Christmas 2025, so we've been using it for about 4 weeks. Yesterday the red "CLEAN" light came on, so i ran a pot of vinegar/water through just like the owner's manual said to do and the light went off. I love this coffee pot though, the option to grind beans is wonderful, yet we still buy grounds and that option works well for us. One thing concerns me though, and according to the owner's manual I am supposed to keep the GRINDING PART DRY, yet every time I make a pot of coffee there is a LOT of condensation that builds up inside the grind cup and lid, so i dry it out everytime I clean it after use. One suggestion would be to make that (wonderful) caraffe such that you can see the amount of coffee left inside, it is heartbreaking to go for another cup of coffee and the thing is empty. I would like to have a little window or a way to know how much coffee is in the caraffe after we make a pot and start drinking in the mornings. My pot works great and I love it!

I received this as a Christmas gift from my husband! How thoughtful I can have fresh ground coffee everyday. I enjoy it and I think it's pretty easy to clean. I do feel like the grind function is quite loud compared to what I expected.
The only trouble something is that I have been using it less than 30 days now and have had to clean it twice. I do have hard water but I also did not expect this. I will continue to monitor and if so might use purified water in the tank. One big reason why he bought this one was so that my coffee would stay warm even if I didn't finish it right away and the stainless steel craft that he chose in this model works very well.

This is our 2nd Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffee maker, as we liked the features and brewed coffee taste of our first. Although our first model brewed up to 12 cups in a thermal carafe, the same size was not available in Cuisinart’s current line up of Grind & Brew coffee makers with a thermal carafe, so we settled on the 10-cup model.
We find the quality of coffee and strength-choice features to be similar to our first model, yet prefer the large-bin coffee bean holder found in our first Cuisinart over having to fill the small container/ grinder each time about of coffee is made in our new one. The 10-cup carafe meets our needs, as there are normally just two of us drinking morning coffee.
The one feature we find to be annoying is the extremely loud noise the internal grinder produces when grinding the coffee beans. We press the ‘grind’ button & hurry out of the kitchen with our index finger in each ear to avoid the high-pitched loud noise of the coffee maker’s bean grinder. Additionally, it seems the grinder stays on for a very long time, even beyond the time it takes to grind the full container of coffee beans. Just be aware of this when making a buying decision. Other than this, we like our new Cuisinart.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been a consumer for the cuisinart grind & brew model for almost 16 years even while traveling and being stationed around the world. I do miss the 12 cup metal carafe model though, as we are a little short with the 10 cup model.
