The coffee that the Cuisanart Grind and Brew makes is great! We especially like the thermal carafe. Coffee doesn’t taste ‘cooked’ and is good even if it needs to be reheated later in the day. We replaced our first Cuisanart Grind and Brew after six years of daily use with the same machine.

Huge,noisy and lukewarm coffee

Bought this thinking it would be great
To wake up to brewed coffee. What I did not expect was that it makes enough noise to wake the dead. This sounds like a jet landing in the kitchen and sets the dog to barking. The grind is acceptable but we no longer use that feature. The carafe does not keep coffee warm as well as my other carafe and the size is enormous making it hard to fit under cabinetry. I had expected better from Cuisinart as I have other products I like very much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Returned due to steam and grind issues

There’s no way to fine-tune the grind amount and the default coffee grind was basically an expresso level, not good for drip. Plus the steam or condensation collecting in the area where you leave the beans for grinding, made a sludgy mess that was a pain to clean. And most importantly, the coffee didn’t taste good. I returned it.

13 years and needed a new Coffeemaker

My old Cuisinart Grind and Brew Coffeemaker last 13 years so replacing it with a new one was a priority. I like the brilliance and good coffee that comes pouring out of this new maker but the grinding of the beans is extremely loud! loud!
