I bought this grind and brew because my last one took a dump. I went with Cuisinart because of the brand and because of the reliability of the product. My old lasted 10 years. I like the upgrades on this one and hope it lasts as long as my first.

Upon initial brew, found a puddle of water underneath. Since then no water. The cleaning light keeps going on after every brew using beans or ground. I clean everything, use filtered water and the in maker filter is new but clean light stays on. Maker is brand new. Nice maker but I wish base was heated. The stainless pot doesn't stay hot very long. Also no way to measure water going in. I use a see through older Cuisinart pot to pour exact cup water in.

We have a history with Cuisinart coffeemakers over the years, all of which cause us to choose Cuisinart over every other brand. When our old one finally decided to “bite-the-dust”, our daughter’s family knew we would not be happy with another brand so bought us the Cuisinart Grind & Brew this past Christmas as a gift to us.

This is a lovely looking coffee maker. It brews very tasty coffee quickly from either ground or whole beans. If only it brewed the coffee hotter and if only the thermal carafe held the heat longer. My previous coffee maker was a 15 year old Cuisinart that brewed wonderfully hot coffee into a thermal carafe that kept it hot for hours.
So I’m a bit disappointed in this one.
