I was using an older single Belgian Waffle maker that my daughter got me as a Christmas gift some years ago. I splurged and got this one a few weeks ago. This Cuisinart leaves that one in the dust. First, now when I make waffles my husband & I can eat together in stead of eating in shifts like with the single waffle maker! Secondly, the Cuisinart bakes up the double waffles in much less time - and these are pretty waffles, too, very evenly browned and in record time. I waited to get it on sale though - I never pay “full price” for anything if I can keep from it. I’m very satisfied with this double waffle maker. I think you will be, too! This would be your best bet to make waffles quickly if you have guests for breakfast. Cuisinart has a good reputation for their kitchen appliances & gadgets. I have several Cuisinart products: toaster, blender, cookware to name a few and now this double waffle maker. Cuisinart has good warranties on their products - but I’ve yet to ever have to use one of them.

I found this waffle maker to superior to my previous appliance. It is easy to use. You determine the level of browning of your waffles. The appliance lets you know once the waffles are ready. You can cook 2 waffles at a time. Clean up is easy. I would highly recommend this product to others.
