I have 4 children and this waffle maker allows me to serve a hot breakfast for all to enjoy. It is quick but most important it cooks the waffles beautifully. The 3 beeps indicating that it is done is very helpful especially when I am multitasking. Since Christmas it has been a 3 times a week pull out for use.

I made Belgian waffles in a hotel, years ago. Those waffle makers were heavy, slow, and expensive. Now, almost every motel chain that offers free breakfast has a waffle maker setup, where you can make one at a time. Which means I'm always waiting for every kid traveling cross country with Mom and Dad, to make their waffle. Finally, i have my own, which works as well as the motel version, but faster (since i can make 2 at once), tastier (since i pick the recipe).
a tip? find a recipe that has oil in it, and forget the spray (it's messy and so hard to clean).

I was a bit skeptical about buying this. I saw an America’s Test Kitchen review of it and they chose it as the best waffle iron for it’s price. I purchased it and I am glad I did. The waffles come out perfectly cooked. It is great that I can cook two at a time too!
