I love this new waffle maker. It replaced an old one. The new design is an improvement. I like the depth of it and the drip pan. That helps avoid a messy countertop. I don't like the sliding darkness lever. I liked the older dial design on the previous model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Since I am the cook in the house, I was asked when can we have waffles? We did not own a waffle iron/maker so, I took to doing some research. A very reliable online food blog called Serious Eats, had reviewed 10 waffle makers and this one had a very high rating compared to the others. Especially attractive was the price. First time I used it, I made a batch of 7 waffles. The results were absolutely perfect! Easy to use, I highly recommend this product.

I already had a combination Cuisinart waffle and omelet maker which has truly been outstanding for years. I purchased this double flip Belgian waffle maker to use at our church for monthly brunches. The waffles do not cook or brown the same as my old one. In addition, when I flip it to add another waffle, the mix spills out.

Great waffle iron at double the speed of the typical Holiday Inn Express waffle iron. The only reason I didn't go 5 stars is it would be very helpful if the griddles were removeable for cleaning.

I am generally happy with this waffle maker. It is quick and efficient, it's awesome making 2 at a time and each time it only takes about 3 min. I like that I can leave the waffle in longer to make it darker, how easy the cleanup is, and the cup that came with it.
The reason it didn't get 5 stars is the beeping. Oh my God why are there so many beeps? 6 when it's warmed, 3 when waffle is ready. Per side. Meaning if you want say one side darker than the other you get 6 (loud!) beeps off one side and 6 off the other. Then 3 once one waffle is ready, and 3 for the other. They are SO loud. If your household is sleeping there is no way they aren't going to be woken up by this machine beeping. And there is no way to modify it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owning several products from Cuisinart, and being satisfied with them all - and because I am wild about sweet breakfast foods - I was pretty excited to get my hands on the Double Flip Belgian Waffle Maker. After taking it on several spins, I am happy to report that Cuisinart hasn’t lost their step, but instead are only improving. This Waffle Maker helps me to make great waffles simply, and it looks great while doing it.
The Waffle Maker is ready to go straight out of the box. The only thing I had to do before getting started was to place on the drip plate, which is a great feature that saves on clean up time.
Functionally, the Waffle Maker is solidly built without feeling overly heavy. The feet are very grippy, so you can’t push it around, which makes sense as you have to handle it to flip the waffles. The flipping mechanism is satisfyingly sturdy, so it doesn’t swing loosely.
It makes medium sized waffles, and it makes them well. There is a green light and a beep when they are finished cooking, which is awesome because it keeps you from having to peek to check for doneness. I’ve found that it is perfectly accurate, and it takes out all the guesswork. The waffles end up thick and nicely brown. Too, included is a cup to measure out the appropriate amount to batter, so even a novice can use this with confidence. No more overfilling and creating a big mess, and that is something I really appreciate.
It has an industrial finish, and it looks quite striking on the counter. It is well built, and I anticipate that it will last for a very long time.
Not much to say except I very heartily recommend!

This waffle maker is replacing an old & very cheap waffle maker. I love this waffle maker, very easy to use. With the built in timer and the batter cup you never have to much batter and all ways a crispy waffle.
