manual is not user friendly . I had to call customer service to find out it takes a hour to reset machine it would not let you change recipe. I am a beginner

Easy to make delicious bread from scratch. Have done well with recipes from the included book but other recipes were hard to gauge correct size - remember Lucy’s bread that shot out of the oven? Yeah. But the machine is great!

Not happy with the bread maker, I have tried 3 different types of bread and the results for all three was a white loaf mealy texture and a slightly doughy middle. I will try the dough cycle and see if I get better results

5 stars for size, appearance, bread quality and taste. I had a problem with the top caving in. I found my answer of adjusting my recipe not from the Cuisinart manual, but from my old Oster manual. The answer was reducing the water by up to 4 TBLS, and increasing the salt and sugar. My sweet spot was 3 TBLS less water and 1/8 teaspoon more salt and sugar. Perfection!
Not sure why but bread making can be touchy and the quality of ingredients and precise measurements can alter results. I still would highly recommend! It makes awesome bread!
