There’s nothing compact about the results from this awesome bread maker. I replaced my older model with this one after much consideration and comparison with other models. This model produces a vertical loaf like my older model as opposed to most of the other models out there today that produce a more traditional looking loaf. This allows a much smaller “footprint”on my valuable counter space which is at a premium. It has produced perfect loaves every time and looks beautiful on my counter. The many features are great! It will make a 1 lb, 1 1/2 lb and 2 lb loaf. It will beep to let you know when to put your add ins in and beep again to let you know when to remove the paddle if you wish. If you can’t already tell, I love my Cuisinart bread maker!

I bought this Compact for my Christmas present when my old one wore out. When I first saw the size of the pan, I was disappointed, but I modified my recipe so it would make a little taller loaf and that has been working just fine. It gives me a beautiful loaf everytime and I like the size of the machine, that fits nicely in the cupboard. It is a little noisy, but other than that I am very happy with it.

I bought this around Christmas and started using it a couple of months ago. I love this little bread maker. So far I've only used it to make my dough then I've baked in the oven. But I wouldn't trade it for the world! ♡ I wish I had another one!

This is the most amazing bread machine! It’s so easy and cleans instantly. We had another brand for years that sat in closet because it was huge and did not make an assortment of breads. It’s sleek and it makes pretzels, among other breads. Artisan and my husband hogs the machine and makes bread and cheese breadsticks. I wish I had bought this long ago. No chemicals or HFCS in any recipes. Great to have wholesome bread and the crusts are perfect. Thanks Cuisinart!

I haven't owned a bread machine before and thought this would be a good model to start with. I bought it primarily for gluten-free bread making, so that's all I've made so far. The first loaf was a minor disaster, it had a huge gaping hole in the middle of it. Sort of like a loaf of bread that wanted to be a donut instead. :) Rereading the instructions, I realized I should remove the mixing paddle before baking. That did the trick; the next loaf was properly formed. In both cases, the top end of the loaf didn't brown very well because there's not a heating element in the lid, but that's a feature in more expensive models. For the price, I'm very happy. Another good Cuisinart product.

This product is easy to use! This is my first bread maker ever! I enjoy making fresh bread and eating this delicious bread during quarantine. Here’s a tip for making bread, oil down the window inside because when the dough rises it touches the top and it sticks. When you spray oil or butter, it will keep it from sticking.
