5 stars for size, appearance, bread quality and taste. I had a problem with the top caving in. I found my answer of adjusting my recipe not from the Cuisinart manual, but from my old Oster manual. The answer was reducing the water by up to 4 TBLS, and increasing the salt and sugar. My sweet spot was 3 TBLS less water and 1/8 teaspoon more salt and sugar. Perfection!
Not sure why but bread making can be touchy and the quality of ingredients and precise measurements can alter results. I still would highly recommend! It makes awesome bread!

This is a good quality bread maker, I have made dough once and a loaf of bread once. Both products turned out great. I do want to chime in and say that is is a 1.5 lb bread maker. I thought it was a 2lb bread maker but that is not the case. Nonetheless it still works great and has a few options that my last bread maker did not have like an add-in chime to add in nuts & raisins. Overall happy with this purchase.

I followed a recipe made specifically for a bread machine 1&1/2 size loaf, did the settings on the machine as it called for and it ended up touching the top of the machine. I have as not sure if it was the recipe or the machine. In any case the bread itself was really soft and tasted great. I do wish the machine came with a better recipe booklet than it does, but overall very nice.

This bread maker is small but it has a 2 lb capacity. It is quiet and has an alarm so if you wish to remove the paddle after the knead function, you may.
