wanted a simple, reliable bread maker and this fits the bill. while I have had it a short time I have used it to make pizza dough & basic breads( pre-packaged/and scratch-GF, whole wheat & white). Hope to get more creative soon. Would have given 5 stars except for the loud vibrations during the mix/ kneading cycle....would definitely recommend for entry level newbie like myself.

This machine's bread loaves are shaped differently from the machine I had and I am having trouble getting the bread I want from it. There was a manual with the machine that has helped. I think with more use, as I get used to this machine, the bread will get better.

I bought it to make gluten free breads. I used their recipe & followed it exactly but the dough was so goopy & wet that when I went to get the paddle out, I lost about 25% of the dough to my hands...

I love the compact size of the machine, and also the fact that I can remove the paddle. On the whole, it's a very good bread maker, however, I bought an original machine that never browned the tops of the bread. Each loaf had a white, raw dough-looking top. Cuisinart was great enough to send me a replacement machine, but the same thing happens with the new one. I guess it's the nature of the beast with this bread maker. That's the reason I can only give it three stars.

Good price; value. Easy clean up and to remove bread from pan. Recipes and times for 3 sizes. Timer requires some figuring in determining when you want finished product. Replacing a Zojirushi after 24 years.
