I haves used this bread maker, two times a week for the last five weeks. I have followed the instructions, explicitly, and use the recipes in the that came with the bread maker. Comes out, dry, and dense. When I make a 1 1/2 pound loaf, the top center sinks in after the last rise. I even went and bought all new ingredients to ensure freshness, but this did not make a difference.
When I just use the dough cycle, it seems to work fine.
Note: I never had this problem with my previous bread maker, which was 20 years old. I only replaced it because it needed a new gasket on the bake pan and it was no longer available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't buy! I have made 2 different loaves of bread and threw both of them on the trash. They both are almost totally hollowed out. The last one had a 1/2" crust all around the bread. Is this thing getting too hot? This is not my first bread machine. Over the years I have had 2 more. I used to buy bread mixes. I can't find white bread mixes any more. Guess they quit making them.

Excellent customer service. Just submitted the request and support did all in time without a phone call. Suggestion : this bread machine is really great however its breadpan blade and hub assembly is not good wear and tiers easily cause the same in future.

I bought this bread maker about a month ago, after owning another Cuisinart bread maker for years, because the other unit was making noises . The recipes do not work, either too much flour and not enough yeast, or never tried the recipe before printing the book!

I tried using this bread maker twice since purchase in January but neither time with either recipe (separate recipes one from Cuisinart one of my own) came out very good. Very Dense heavy breads, one was the cinnamon bread in recipe book that came with machine. I was in process of unpacking from a long distance move so didn't get the chance to return. But just not that thrilled with this machine.
