I was excited to be able to make nutritious non-preservative bread for my family with this bread maker. I had had one years ago and loved it but it stopped working and I did not replace it. This Cuisinart unit arrived quickly and well packaged. I had bought all new ingredients - yeast, bread flour, regular flour etc expecting to make a loaf as soon as it arrived. I put in the exact ingredients following the basic white bread recipe that came with the machine!! All seemed to go fine until it was baked and I took it out of the pan. It was a large hockey puck on steroids!!! Thought I mush have done something wring. I tried 4 more loaves! Same thing. I actually watched the last loaf rise through the window and as soon as it got to bake it fell!! Sadly I returned it. Cuisinart is a great brand and was highly rated so I guess I just got a defective unit. I also read in the directions to add flour or water, scrape down pan etc. but my old one you just put in the ingredients, turned it on and a beautiful soft loaf came out at the end. They say to “experiment” but the basic recipes should work perfectly from the start. It was easy to program and I liked the light in the unit. It was light in weight and did not take up a lot of space. A handsome unit. Too bad it didn’t work!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used to own a different model many years back, it was huge and heavy. With groceries prices going up and too much bread getting moldy before we can it, I decided to go for a new bread machine. I did a lot of research, watched endless video about all kinds of machines, Cuisinart always came in first. I have made about 3 breads in the first 2 days, making another one tomorrow. This machine is small and light, easy to move away when not in use, works like a charme, does not make much noise and every bread turned out great. I am going to try pizza dough next week, which will hopeful solve my problem finding good pizza dough.
I love this little helper, it will pay for itself within a few months.

This machine is what it says, compact. But, it has Cuisinart style and it’s easy to use. I really like the variety of recipes in the booklet, but it would be great with some specific delay start versions to be able to wake up to fresh bread. Otherwise, we’re enjoying our new bread maker.

I’ve only had this bread machine a few weeks and I love it. Seriously I haven’t made a bad loaf yet. The recipe book that it comes with makes amazing bread too! Our favorite is the buttermilk jalapeño cheddar loaf. Super easy to use and easy to clean as well.

So much fun to learn a new hobby at the age of 82 years old I mean young. It is a wonderful machine just follow the directions one little thing at a time and everything will be super duper. Love the taste. Love the options. Have fun

I have not had a bread maker in years, probably decades. I read reviews and features and decided on this Cuisinart compact bread maker. It I was easy to understand the directions and follow. So many options to choose from. I love the notification to add ingredients and also to take the paddle out. What you can make is endless and will taste amazing. Highly recommend!
