I absolutely love my new bread machine. I came from an older Zojirushi which was bulky and heavy and every loaf I made with it turned out a bit gummy. So far with my new Cuisinart, I have made regular, french and rye 2lb loaves. The rye loaf was a bit compact but had great flavor. I am amazed at the versatility of this small machine with so many options for bread types, crust color, and loaf size. I also love the light and large viewing window!

I love making bread. I tried many different loaves and I love that I don't have to kneed with my hands. It definitely helps with having a machine to set it and forget it.

Enjoyable Efficient kitchen helper. I make bread from scratch the old fashioned way and my son surprised me with an easy alternative for bread baking. I love it and feel lazy.., and enjoy the luxury of this hands off process too!

New to breadmaking so no comparison is possible. Placing sticks of butter and eggs in warm water helps to get them to room temperature. 30 seconds in microwave will bring dairy to room temperature. Using the gluten free setting, which has less rising time, for breads as spouse likes dense breads. Only using the lightly toasted setting as others give an overly crusted bread for our taste. For nutty whole wheat bread recipe using only red mill 10 grain flour with additional tbs of hemp seed and flax . Banana bread recipe worked well.
