My 30 year old bread maker was still working good but I wanted to replace it with a newer and more compact model. And my granddaughter wanted my old one so I bought the Cuisinart Compact because the reviews I read were so high. I've made four loaves of French bread so far with it and couldn't be more pleased with function or size. I highly recommend.

I haven't had this very long, it was a gift. I have only had the chance to use it 3 times. The first time was a disaster. (My fault). Second and third times were perfect. My only wish is that it had a nut and raisin release bucket. it does require precision measurements.

I am really happy with this model. I have a small kitchen with limited storage space, so I appreciate the smaller size. I always baked bread without a machine, but besides having little space, it doesn’t really have a warm enough spot for proofing. There are plenty of options, despite being “compact”, and I’m looking forward to trying them all.
