I have tried several recipes now with this machine and have finally found a white loaf that is not heavy and can be used for sandwiches. Its easy to use, but if I had plenty of counter space I would probably not buy this upright machine as you do not have control on adding stuff to the 'top' crust, as the crust is on the side as this is a vertical machine. I'm still trying different recipes to find the 'perfect' sandwich loaf, and am still getting used to using an electric knife to cut thinner slices.

I've made about 5 loaves of bread so far - 3 gluten free and 2 regular. Every setting I need is here; bread comes out perfect everytime! Easy to use; easy to clean!!!

Got this as a birthday gift and have been very pleased with its performance in the month I have used it. It replaced a much older machine and is much more efficient than the old one (takes about half as long to make the dough as the old one did). However, it is much noisier and make conversation in the kitchen difficult while it is kneading the dough.

As someone who does a lot of cooking I was skeptical at first. After using this little beauty I am no longer. if you can follow directions you can make all kinds of delicious breads and dough.

Love bread. Period. However, never ever even attempted to actually MAKE/BAKE a loaf myself. Looked like a messy PITA! So I started considering a Bread Machine about a decade ago. Never pulled the "Buying Trigger" until just very recently. Read a bazillion product and real-user reviews on a bazillion Bread Machines and narrowed down to this unit. Why? It was compact and priced-right to try and see if I actually liked it. Plus, I bought a CUISINART Countertop Griddle last Spring which I really like soooo....BAM, I now am the Proud Owner of a Bread Machine! Started with a Honey Wheat Box Mix just to make sure the gizmo worked (it did! yummmm!) and then made a from-scratch Basic White which turned-out to be terrific! So, onto wheats, ryes, pizza dough and maybe even a sourdough! WOW!

Following the recipes in the enclosed pamphlet the bread came out too dry and the crust was too hard. None of the recipes I tried used any oil or sweetener. I went back to using recipes from The Bread Machine cookbook, reduced the cooking time by 30 minutes and had some tasty bread. A big plus over my old machine is it lets you know when to remove the paddle so you don't have to deal with removing it after the bread is done. I also like the compact size.

I got this for Christmas and have baked 4 or 5 loaves so far. It’s been so easy to use - this is literally the crock pot of break making! There’s nothing like the smell of fresh baked bread. Set up couldn’t be easier, And I love that it came with a recipe booklet. Seriously, I would have bought this for myself if I hadn’t got it for Christmas

My first breadmaker ever. First few loaves came out with great taste, but a little dense for me. Played around and am now getting great breads and doughs! I did have a dough cycle go a little wonky on me, but my pretzel dough was pretty good. Using this way more than I thought I would. Doesn’t take up an extraordinary amount of space on my counter and is light enough to move around with ease. No real complaints.
