Love it! Taught myself how to bake wheat bread the old fashioned way but it was so labor intensive that I would choose to bake six loaves and lose a full day rather than baking less and lose several half days throughout the month. I still soak my wheat flour the night before but I don't have to proof yeast, mix, knead, wait for it to rise, knead, rise, knead, shape, rise...this does it all then just beeps when it's done. I can bake a loaf of bread whenever I need it, love it!

I am new to bread baking so I wanted something easy to use. The cost of bread at the grocery was going through the roof and I also wanted control over what is in the food I eat. With the Cuisinart bread maker you add your own ingredients, select the size and crust color and within a few hours you have a scrumptious loaf of bread. It comes with detailed instructions and recipe booklet with everything from plain white, wheat and some more gourmet options. It couldn't be simpler or more fun. And the machine is compact, takes very little counter space looks beautiful besides. Aside from the worry of gaining too much weight from eating too much bread there is nothing else to worry about. Just add the ingredients, set it and hit start. Just that simple, just that delicious.

Machine is so easy to use. Put in ingredients in the correct order set it, and it does it work for you. Even reminds you when to add in goodies or take out paddle. I love it.

Overall, a quality machine. It’s quiet, well-designed, with many options for a variety of breads, sizes, colors of crust, etc. LED display is easy to read and program. My favorite features: First: A small easy twist of the handle to the right or left, is all it takes to lock or unlock the bread pan. Important for bakers with hand and wrist issues. Second: the booklet contains important time indicators, if you want to remove the dough after second rise, to shape and bake in regular shaped bread pan, which I do most of the time.

This is a really good bread maker! I never have to scrape the dough from the sides or help it ball up like my last one. I also like the paddle removal warning beep it is so helpful to not have the paddle baked into the bread and ruin the last couple of slices. Very well made.

I have used a number of bread machines over the past some years, learning as I went along. My last machine did a nice job for dough and I had pretty much ended up using it for mixing the dough and baking the loaf in my oven. Mainly because I liked how my bread baked much more nicely in a pan in the oven rather than in the bread machine itself. After I purchased this Cuisinart, I tried a few recipes included in the manual and baked them in the machine. I was surprised and happy with how nicely they turned out. The crust color was excellent & was according to how I selected. The menu selection was also excellent and pretty much what I needed - had a few extras without being overwhelming and over the top. The machine mixes the dough really well - a little attention may be needed for some doughs in the corners with a rubber spatula at the beginning, but nothing more than that. I find the machine to be quiet during kneading. Some have complained of loud beeps for "add ins" or "paddle removal" but I appreciate this. I remember a machine I had that I could easily miss hearing the beeps for those 2 functions and was always playing "catch up" as I had missed the "add in" for raisins or whatever. I am also enjoying that I can do a "French" cycle rise & knead, remove the paddle & dough and continue the final rise and bake out of the machine. I used to have to set a timer and do the extra rise/knead manually. The results in this machine were quite nice. So in other words, if you want to bake in your oven, you have the option of not only selecting the "dough" cycle but also selecting for a particular bread function and removing the dough at the "remove paddle" signal. Anyway, I am still learning this machine but very impressed and loving it so far. I dont think you can go wrong with this bread machine. It is small, but mighty. It mixed/raised a 4 1/2 cup flour cinnamon dough recipe perfectly on the dough cycle. Looks great with it's stainless steel & black plus its quite small footprint that still produces an awesome loaf of bread. Thank You Cuisinart!! PS- The breads I baked successfully so far in this machine are: Cuisinart Recipe Book - Jalapeno Cheddar Bread (1 lb) / French Bread Loaf / Parmesan Peppercorn French Bread 1 lb loaf. (All are quite wonderful/favs & do not include other recipes tried that were all very good.) Also King Arthur site recipes include Chewy Semolina Rye Bread (excellent for Reuben's, sandwiches & toast) & Bread Machine English Muffin Bread (great of course for toast but also sandwiches, etc) both are excellent (altho I did tweak some). No matter they are still excellent & good to add to the rotation. This Cuisianrt handled them all well. The only thing I baked in my oven were the cinnamon rolls. Loving this Machine.
