I have been using my bread maker for 3 months. The machine is easy to use, relatively quiet operation. However, of the 7 loaves of bread I’ve made, they are always dense and difficult to eat after 2 days. I don’t think the problem is the instructions in the Cuisinart manual. I have tried other recipes and quality ingredients with the same results. I may try just using the machine for pre-baking.

I have been using bread machines for 22 years. It took 5 tries with this machine before I was happy with my bread. Following the recipe for rapid rise produced a very small brick. Following the setting 1 for white bread and going through the entire cycle produced a very hard crust 1/2 inch thick, even on the light loaf setting. But taking the paddle out at the correct time, and then stopping the machine with about 30 minutes left on the timer produces a lovely, high-rising, perfectly baked loaf. (I always add 1 Tbsp. vital gluten per loaf.). Other than timing, the machine works like a charm!

My wife gave me this bread maker for Christmas and I absolutely love it!!!! I have made the French bread twice as well as the cinnamon raisin bread. Used the recipes that came with the machine and it is so easy. The French bread is great and the cinnamon needed a little tweaking, more sugar and cinnamon;) .

At this point I am not happy. I have followed the imstructions and recipes to the letter. The bread is not turning out as it should. I have had breadmakers in the past and never had this problem. I wish at this point I had not purchased it.

Have owned this for just a couple of weeks. I am pretty much a noob when it comes to making breads and bread machines. It replaced a 20 year old machine that no longer worked. My wife was the cook for the previous machine but this one is mine.
It works very well and does a much better job than our old unit. I am trying out different recipes and so far everything has come out to perfection. It is very easy to use and like the fact that you can make 3 different sizes. My wife is diabetic and does not eat bread so I can make small loaves just for me.
Everything is easy. Just throw in the ingredients in the proper order and let the machine go its thing.
I would definitely recommend this product.

So I’ve made Rosemary Bread, White Bread, Wheat Bread and Banana Bread all within 3 weeks. I love how small this appliance it, yet it can produce a 2 lb. loaf. It does it all! I have had some mishaps (rising and then collapsing) but I’m learning that measuring fluffy flour is important and I’m looking for less dense bread recipes. That said, I’m finished buying bread from the grocery store. No more processed bread! And, oh, the smell. Yum! An easy machine to figure out. Yes, I would recommend it.
