This is a very good and easy to use bread maker. It takes all the hard work out of making bread. The recipe book that came with it is a good starter and will get you on the way to making bread right away.

This was a great purchase! I have had cuisinart bread maker before and loved it. I was so glad to see that they still offer such an incredible device. It makes bread making, even for a novice, fun and very satisfying!

The recipe book walks you through step by step. Have only made French and Sandwich breads so far but my family loves them. Very easy to read and use and not at all complicated. Compact and fits well in my kitchen. Wish I would have purchased sooner!

This is my first bread maker, I've always made bread by hand. It's so fast and easy, I've been using it almost daily. My family is loving all the baked goods and my kitchen isn't a flour dusted mess. The bread pan is easy to clean and all of the included recipes are simple to follow. My kids like watching it knead through the clear window. I appreciate the many options it has, it's also compact and takes up very little storage space in my kitchen. I wish I had bought one years ago.

I decided I wanted to make better bread than is available around here and that a bread maker would reduce my capacity to make a hash of it I read a number of reviews and kept seeing this little Cuisinart. I've known the brand since childhood so it was easy to imagine this is, in fact, a good machine. It really is. It comes with a recipe book that is written specifically for this machine (and maybe other Cuisinarts) which makes everything easy enough that even I could pull it off: assemble ingredients in the pan in the order given, select the type of bread, the size of loaf, the degree of darkness, and you're off. When you're done, the pan is easy to wash and you're ready to go again. The recipe book gives you over two dozen bread recipes that are made entirely in the machine, including white, grainy, Italian, artisanal, sourdough, gluten-free, and dessert breads. There are also sections for making dough that you shape and bake in your oven, cake batter, and jam. The manual contains everything you need to know including a breakdown of making measures, discussions about ingredients, variations on the recipes, and tips for storage. It has been enormously helpful for me, as I have (or had) no knowledge it experience on the subject. There is only one drawback to this machine that's worth considering. It's a compact machine, so it makes small loaves. If you make two pound loaves, as I've been doing, you get bread that is taller than wide or long. It's an obvious trade-off for the size and price, and it isn't an issue unless you plan to entertain or give bread as gifts. I'm very happy with this machine, and I've had fresh bread every day since it arrived a couple weeks ago.
