I was able to use my bread machine to successfully make bread twice and on the third use, the paddle broke. This gets two stars because I thought the bread and recipes provided were good enough. Cuisinart being a well-known brand, I was highly disappointed that the paddle was not fully made of metal.

The first one was the white bread. Just follow the recipe on the enclosed booklet, and the machine does the work.

Recipes need help

We received the compact bread maker as a gift. It makes good bread, but the recipes provided aren't useful at all. We initially used quick-rising yeast and the bread did not turn out, so we tried regular dry yeast thinking it would help. No luck. We finally tried using recipes from our old bread maker (West Bend) and the bread has been perfect. Your recipes seem to be way off.

Weak motor

It’s not powerful enough to mix a 2 lb loaf and the recipes are way off in the manual. Very disappointed. Weak motor.

This is a great bread machine for beginners. I’ve used it several time and finally found a great recipe online. The recipes in the book are not that great. The bread machine is efficient and does exactly what it says it will do. I did watch a few videos online on how to operate it, now I’m good. The compact bread machine is well worth the price.. No more store bought bread for me.
