My only experience with a bread maker was almost more than 15 years ago when my college roommate had one. I remember it being so big and bulky and I don't think she ever used it. But this compact bread maker is basically the size of a toaster. I love the little window - I was watching the mixing and kneading process for about 15 minutes. The bread came out perfect! I followed the white bread recipe perfectly. No more messy counters! Thanks Cuisinart for making a compact bread maker.

Works well. Mixes everything nicely, works the dough and bakes perfectly. No complaints. We really enjoy it. You must use bread machine dough though, just a heads up.

I have owned a few bread machines in the last few years. I bought a cheap one during Covid which lasted about a year and broke just after the warranty expired. My wife bought me the Jozirushi mini bread maker which we love and keep at another house. It's very expensive, so when I was shopping for a new bread machine to replace the cheap one that died, each search kept bringing up this Cuisinart bread maker. Review after review and dozens of videos later, I decided to order the Cuisinart compact bread maker. I am SO glad I did, because this bread maker is just perfect. First off, it's a nice small size which easily sits on the counter without taking up much space. It also looks good in stainless and matches our appliances. The instruction booklet is very thorough and informative and has many bread and pastry and yogurt recipes to try. It makes GREAT bread. My first attempt at a French bread loaf came out perfect..delicious and fluffy with crisp crust. The controls of the machine are so easy to see and easy to follow. I like how it has a light so you can see the progress through the glass panel. The other feature which I find so convenient is that the machine beeps 10 times alerting you that dough making is over and the baking cycle is about to start. This "warning" allows you to remove the paddle from the machine so it doesn't get baked inside the loaf leaving an awful hole. I also use this setting whenever I make the dough but bake in the oven..I do this when making baguettes or rolls. It's a really useful feature/option of this machine. I am really so happy with this machine, and relieved all the reviews I read and videos I watched were true and accurate. I got it Black Friday, so saved some $, but even without that sale, it is a very fair price ad well worth it. I also felt confident buying a brand like Cuisinart. I highly recommend this bread machine.

This is an important part of our family eating healthier. Simple to use, easy cleaning, tasty, healthier bread. Less calories than store bought bread, without the preservatives that are not kind to our bodies. I can't wait to try the many options we have to make different types of bread. At first, my family was confused on why I purchased a bread maker. After tasting the first slice (while warm) with butter, they were in love with it as well. This will be used for years to come.

I enjoyed my large Cuisinart Bread Maker for 12 years. My new compact version has many improvements and still does everything my old one did. I am SO happy I finally replaced it and stayed with Cuisinart.
