[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve made 2 loaves of white bread so far. I’ve tried 2 different recipes. Problem I found is the lightest crust setting is way too dark. I would consider it medium or dark. The next loaf I will try taking it out earlier. The harder crust makes the entire loaf harder. What I do like is how easy it is to run and the settings are easy to set. The size of the machine is great. Much smaller than I thought it would be.
I will have to experiment with cook times or just end up taking it out and cooking it in a pan in the oven. I don’t know if it’s just my unit doing the darker crust on the lightest setting, or if they are all set like that.
I thought about returning it, but I decided to keep it.

Part of the issue is that the compact size makes it difficult to keep the ingredients separate until the right time for them to come together. I will use this in a pinch, but if I want fantastic bread I am still going to knead it by hand
