[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the product several times at this point. I tried twice using the product to its full potential. Both times the final loaf either failed to rise sufficiently or collapsed resulting in a squat, dense loaf. Then I used the machine's dough function only and did the bake in the oven (same bread recipe). The loaves have come out beautifully. So while I have not been able to get the machine to bake a good loaf from start to finish, even just outsourcing the dough making process is a Godsend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like to bake and maintain my own sourdough starter, but it's often hard to justify the effort involved in making a homemade loaf. I typically use no-knead recipes to minimize the work required, but I often wonder what you lose by not kneading the dough. This little machine makes it very easy to bake bread including all the proper kneading. Getting it started is trivial...just dump in the ingredients in the order specified, select the proper settings, and press start. A basic recipe can take just a few minutes to get going, and a few hours later you have hot bread. I've made a french loaf, and also used it to knead and rise a sourdough loaf that I then baked in the oven and both attempts resulted in excellent results. There are very few things in life better than fresh baked bread and this machine makes it so easy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this thing bakes the crust too dark even at the lowest setting. I think the thermostat is faulty and bakes at a higher temp than it's supposed to
