So this 2lbs bread maker does exactly what it claims to do. It makes great bread. It doesn't have add in compartments and fancy things, but I didn't want it to. I wanted a solid bread maker that could make home made delicious white bread, and doughs without preservatives for my family. On this it performed ten out of ten. I have had it around a month and I use it around twice a week. Once to bake a white bread, and once to make a dough or two, depending on the need. I recommend using a bread machine yeast. It seems to just work better. With each recipe it takes me around two or three tries to get it just right. After that I can make it repeatable over and over. The baking pot, I guess I would call it is easy to wash by hand right after use, and I let it air dry and return it to the machine. I haven't tried the delay function yet, but I tend to get up early and kick off my bread so it is hot and ready when needed. The unit isn't what I would call tiny, but it fits neatly on a counter corner and isn't in the way that much. It will be interesting to see how well it performs over two or three years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've never used a bread maker and couldn't imagine it being so simple. The recipe book that comes with the machine is clearly written. My first loaf, a whole wheat was delicious and came out perfect. I made challahs next and they, too were awesome. Then I made a rye bread. Also fantastic. This machine doesn't take up a lot of room and it's simple to clean.
