The bread maker moves around the counter during the kneading process. This movement caused the bread maker to fall off the counter and break the lid during its second use. The first bread came out ok, but the sourdough bread was very dense. We are not very impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This bread maker has changed my life! In my house, we eat a lot of bread because I live with a Tunisian and bread is in basically every meal! Now we aren’t buying bread so much and instead I’m making it! And it’s so easy - if I have 30 min during the workday, I just throw the ingredients and push a button and later I have fresh bread. It’s easy to use, good quality, and so fun!

I tried baking 3 white breads, 1 oat bread, and 1 French bread. None of the loaves turned out properly. The crust was either underbaked or baked so hard I could barely slice into it. One of the white breads had a crust 1" thick. I had it turned to light crust for all loaves The machine would either overheat or underbake. The length of baking was erratic. The machine was returned as defective.
