I have tossed around the idea of purchasing a bread maker for a couple years and wish I would have made my purchase sooner. Making our own fresh and preservative free bread could not be easier using the Cuisinart Compact Automatic Bread Maker. It is as easy as 1-2-3; add ingredients, start the appliance, and a couple hours later, enjoy.

I received it as a gift and I love it. It's tricky to learn the manual but not too bad. The center of the bread is a bit denser than the rest. I eat it anyway. Maybe it is because I just make gluten-free bread. I am open to suggestions. Maybe, I need to use a different program. Thank you.

I purchased this unit to replace another Sunbeam Brand Unit that had quit running properly a few yrs back. I had the Sunbeam Unit for many years. I was glad to get a smaller unit in your Compact Machine. It's style and ease of use is very important to me. Love my choice of the Cuisinart Brand.

I have had a Cuisinart bread machine for years. When browsing in the store, I was attracted to this compact version for its size and the fact that I could make the same 2 lb size bread as in my old/larger machine. This machine takes up less space and it is easy to use. Also if one leaves the paddle in, the bread easily comes out with no problem. This was not the case in my older/larger machine. Very satisfied.

I bought this bread machine to replace my old one (not Cuisinart) that finally died after many years. This one is far greater than the one it is replacing. I've had it for almost two months now, so I've become pretty familiar with it. It's easy to use and makes the bread making process simple. My favorite recipe is a Honey Rye bread with wheat germ instead of caraway seeds, but I also make classic Italian bread, whole wheat bread, and basic white bread. I love them all, but the rye bread is to die for!
The thing I like the most is that I can make my breads using about half the salt (or less) than that in commercial breads. It took some experimenting to learn how to do this, but I was able to figure it out through trial and error. The neat thing is, that even my failures were delicious so I could eat my mistakes! I have a heart condition and must carefully limit my salt intake, but thanks to this machine, "low salt" doesn't have to mean bland.
Once I started weighing my ingredients instead of using measuring cups, teaspoons, tablespoons, etc., I started achieving consistent results. Now this machine is my second favorite small appliance (My absolute #1 favorite is my Instant Pot).
Ya otta gitcher self one!
